I was staying in an apartment while my fianc·was deployed to Iraq. Through some other friends I had met a soldier who was going through a divorce and needed help. I knew him pretty well (I thought) and offered to let him stay on my couch after discussing it with my fianc·
On November 8, 2007 a female friend of mine who had a crush on this guy came over to drink. The last thing I remember was trying to find music on the computer and him handing me a drink and sitting down on the couch. The next day I woke up naked next to this guy who was also naked, in my bed.
I waited till he left to do something and I put all of his stuff outside and left a note telling him not to try and contact me. I called the police department and was told that because he was a soldier I needed to contact the Military Police. I called the Military Police and they told me it happened off post that is was the city police's "problem".
After going through all of that I just stayed in my house and didn't know what to do. I told my fianc·and he was devastated. A few weeks later I found I was pregnant. (Which is honestly the only reason I know I had sex.) I gave my fianc·the chance to walk away. He decided not to. I contacted the guy to let him know I was pregnant and that basically my fianc·was going to be the daddy.
I have major anxiety now and 0% trust for the justice system in my area.
